New Viscometer Bath from PSL Rheotek developed for product specification testing, the high precision and stability of the bath makes it the ideal base for kinematic viscosity testing in full compliance with ASTM, IP, ISO & DIN methods.

Product Description
PSL Rheotek EVS Viscometer bath. High precision viscometer bath +/- 0.005 degrees Cm exceeding ASTM requirements. Includes integrated back light, OLED temperature display, three viscometer positions, two thermometer positions and bath drain. Low power consumption. Multi voltage. Suitable for use in the temperature range from 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C.
- For operation at temperatures above 50 degrees C, choose the model without integrated chiller.
- Constant Temperature bath with built-in solid-state cooling (according to model type).
- Suitable for kinematic viscosity measurement and dilute solution (polymer) measurement.
- Solid State chiller provides background ambient cooling to provide excellent bath temperature stability.
The EVS Viscometer bath comprises of a stainless-steel inner tank with double glazed front window. The window is illuminated from the front with LED lighting. The inner tank accommodates a PTFE paddle stirrer, with heaters and over temperature cut-out device.
The inner top plate of the bath accommodates up to 5 viscometer positions. A built-in (optional) solid-state cooling module recirculates a cooling liquid through a stainless-steel coil accommodated in the tank. A built-in reservoir holds the coolant with a filling cap situated in the top of the bath at the rear.
The EVS has a 24VDC switching power supply- this provides continuous high precision temperature control to +/- 0.01 or better (ASTM D445, ISO 3104 requires +/- 0.02°C).
