Air Flow Calibration Device

FOAMING CHARACTERISTICS OF LUBRICATING OILS

The Air Flow Calibration Device is an electronic gas mass flow meter for use with air or liquid foam baths.

 

Per ASTM D892, the foam test sequences I-III must be performed with an air source controlled  to 94 ml/min ± 5 ml/min. ASTM 6082, on the other hand, necessitates an air source controlled  to 200 ml/min ± 5 ml/min for the high temperature foam test (Sequence IV).

 

The Air Flow Calibration Device allows users to ensure their TFAB unit is operating within the method's  specifications and empowers them to adjust the instrument if needed between preventative maintenance visits.

 

The Air Flow Calibration Device features an adjustable LCD display for readability, and comes with a DC power adapter compatible  from 100 to 240 VAC.
